Terms of Use & Privacy Notice
Agreement version: 2026-09-10-local-payments-2. These are the existing service terms. They include launch-stage limitations and remain subject to the operator’s public-launch review.
1. Who provides this service
NGSA Prep is a business owned by Perception Inc., which provides the service and collects payments in Guyana. The local office is 315 Middle Street, Georgetown, Guyana. Customer support is +592 680 6324. The planned support and reply email is support@ngsaprep.com; it is being set up and is not yet an active support channel. Call the support number until email is confirmed available. This version describes a private pilot and the intended subscription service. Use fictional learner and contact details in the pilot; public onboarding and live collection are not open yet.
2. Independent exam preparation
NGSA Prep is not affiliated with, approved by or endorsed by the Ministry of Education or any government office. It does not guarantee a score, pass, school placement or other examination outcome. NGSA preparation covers English Language, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies. Practice can help learners develop understanding and familiarity; no claim is made that future examination questions will repeat. Follow the current instructions of the learner's school and the Ministry for registration, examination arrangements and official results.
3. Signup, one learner and the free trial
An adult must create and supervise the account, confirm that they are the parent, guardian or authorised adult, and agree to these terms and the privacy notice before a trial begins. Each account is for one child. Registration asks for the learner's name, parent or guardian email, contact mobile and Guyana region; school is optional. No home address is requested. The trial lasts seven days from the first eligible signup and requires no payment. It does not automatically become a paid subscription. Returning to or recreating the same account does not restart its original trial.
4. Annual price and local payments
The annual subscription is GYD 5,000 for twelve calendar months for one learner. All service fees and refunds are stated in Guyana dollars; there is no automatic renewal or automatic charge when the trial ends. A new subscription is needed after access expires. Perception Inc. collects through the Georgetown office and, once approved merchant details are available, MMG. The pilot accepts payment-reference requests only. Do not send money through a preview or to the support number. Keep the numbered office receipt or MMG transaction record. Paid access begins only after staff reconcile the payment, and its start and end dates are recorded. A family member paying does not receive access to the child's learning records.
5. Thirty-day money-back guarantee
You may request a full refund of the GYD 5,000 subscription payment within thirty days after the paid year is activated. The exact deadline is shown with the payment record in Guyana time. Request a refund in My subscription, call support, or contact the office; email may also be used once operational. Giving a reason is optional. Keep the payment reference and proof of payment. A request submitted in time remains in time while the office processes it. Staff verify the original payer and payment, arrange repayment in GYD through the original method where practical, and record the completed refund. Paid access ends when repayment is recorded. The trial and refund clocks do not restart. Mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.
6. Refund records and fair-use review
Each payment can be refunded only once. Perception Inc. records signup and trial dates, payment and receipt references, cancellations, refund requests, repayments, staff actions and timestamps to prevent duplicate payouts and repeated misuse. An eligible repeat claim is recorded for human review rather than automatically denied. With the protected matching service configured, the combination of learner name and contact details can flag possible repeat registration; shared family email or mobile details alone do not automatically block a child. Matching unverified details is not proof of identity or abuse. Contact support to correct a mistaken match. Do not create duplicate learner accounts to obtain repeated trials or submit false payment records.
7. Source materials and language support
The reading room uses the supplied publicly available Ministry materials with source references. Availability online does not transfer copyright or imply Ministry endorsement of this service. A subscription pays for the NGSA Prep learning experience, organisation, tracking and tools. Do not redistribute protected materials outside their permitted use. English is the default. Original quick-practice questions and explanations include Spanish support; some supplied materials also contain translated editions. Full source mock papers and mini lessons are currently in English. Confirm the learner's official examination language arrangements with their school.
8. Practice marking and composition guidance
Multiple-choice practice is marked against configured answer keys. Each paper identifies whether its key is supplied, transcribed from an official source, or a site-created worked solution. Some papers still require adult review. The writing coach follows the Ministry rubric: content, focus and vocabulary (10 marks), organisation (5), and language and expression (5). Basic checks do not award a mark. Optional AI assessment, when activated, requires the separate parent/guardian AI writing notice and returns a provisional practice estimate. AI feedback can be wrong and needs parent or teacher review; it is not an official grade or placement recommendation. Teacher calibration remains required before advertising examiner-level accuracy.
9. Privacy and responsible use
The service stores the profile, terms version and acceptance time, communication choices, practice answers and results, learning activity, completed lessons, writing and feedback, payment requests and the audit records described above. These records support learning, account access, payment reconciliation, refunds and chosen updates. Records are linked to the signed-in account and protected by server ownership checks; authorised staff handle payment records. The pilot has no public child profiles, rankings or learner chat. Do not submit real identifying details about other people in stories or letters. The service does not sell data or show advertising. Basic writing checks do not send writing to an external AI service. If the optional AI writing feature is activated and a parent/guardian agrees to its separate notice, the composition and task are sent to OpenAI; account details and planning notes are excluded. The operator must arrange approved Zero Data Retention before using this feature for learners under 13. AI feedback and the notice acceptance are saved with the writing. The feature is disabled by default.
10. Email, WhatsApp and parent updates
Weekly parent summaries and gentle reminders after seven days without learning are optional. Choose email, WhatsApp, both or neither. The intended schedule sends at most one routine learning update per week on each selected channel, combining an inactivity prompt with a link to the private report when needed. Verified adult contact details and configured senders are required. Preferences are saved in the pilot, but no external messages are being sent. Change the choices in Parent corner, contact support, or reply STOP to a WhatsApp reminder once active. Subscription expiry does not trigger payment; routine prompts stop thirty days after access ends and stop after a completed refund. Service and payment communications are separate from optional learning updates.
11. Data requests and launch safeguards
A parent or authorised adult may contact Perception Inc. to request access, correction, export or deletion of the learner's information or to question a payment or suspected duplicate record. Deletion may require retaining a limited payment, refund or trial record for accounting, disputes or preventing abuse; this is not permission to keep all learning content indefinitely. The private pilot has no automatic deletion process. Before real child data is collected, Perception Inc. must complete public account and contact verification, the parental consent process, the deletion/export workflow and a published retention schedule. The privacy notice must also identify the actual hosting, identity, MMG, messaging and any marking providers and relevant international processing.
12. Availability, changes and agreement
Reasonable maintenance, outages, corrections or source updates may affect availability. Do not share an account between children, impersonate others, alter marks or receipts, or disrupt the service. Material changes to subscription or privacy conditions will be presented clearly, with renewed agreement where required. The accepted terms version and timestamp are recorded; a revised agreement does not restart a trial. These are launch-draft terms for the operating details supplied by Perception Inc. The operator must review them against its final public service, accounting and applicable legal obligations before launch. They do not exclude mandatory consumer rights.
