MORE THAN A RIGHT OR WRONG ANSWER

The answer is
only the beginning.

A wrong answer can be the start of real understanding. With quick practice, your child can see why an answer works and what to try next.

Less guessing. More “I get it.” And a clearer next step for the next study session.

How does the seven-day free trial work?

A parent or authorised guardian verifies their email and creates one learner profile. The seven-day trial starts when that profile is created. No payment is needed, and the trial does not automatically become a paid subscription. Returning to the same account does not restart the trial.

Is it GYD 500 each month?

The price is GYD 5,000 paid for 12 months for one child. That works out to approximately GYD 417 per month; it is not a monthly payment plan. There is no automatic renewal. After the trial, follow My subscription for the payment options currently available.

What can my child use right now?

The current release includes 151 source-paper entries (including eight Spanish editions), optional Grade 5 papers, timed and untimed answering, saved written responses and diagrams, 24 fully keyed papers plus four with scoring on reviewed questions, quick practice across all four subjects, explanations for original quick-practice questions, forty visual mini lessons, 400 topic questions in English across the four subjects with five-question checks and saved topic review, a searchable reading room, printable source papers, Maths Quest, saved practice history, a printable parent progress snapshot and an 80-prompt writing journal with saved revisions and word-count guidance. Quick-practice questions can repeat. Five Paper 1 guides provide 200 item explanations, including reasons for ten excluded questions. A saved correction notebook helps learners revisit mistakes; full marking coverage remains incomplete.

Does the writing coach grade compositions with AI?

The coach includes an optional AI review with a provisional mark out of 20, specific corrections and revision guidance. It becomes available only when the owner has activated the provider connection and required child-data safeguards, and a parent or guardian agrees to the AI notice. Before activation, fresh prompts, saved drafts, revisions and non-scored writing checks are available. The coach shows its current availability. AI estimates can be wrong and are not official exam grades.

Can I see how my child is doing?

Yes. The account keeps completed practice results, learning activity and writing drafts. Parent corner includes a printable progress snapshot. Email and WhatsApp update preferences are available, but delivery depends on verified contacts and completed sender setup. Check progress in the account in the meantime.

Will it work on my child’s phone?

NGSA Prep is designed for mobile phones, tablets and computers in a modern browser. You can add it to a supported device’s home screen. An internet connection is needed to sign in, save work and use the learning tools. Download and print source PDFs for practice away from the screen.

Can family overseas pay for a child in Guyana?

Yes. Visit our authorised reseller, ababaima.com, for overseas subscription purchases and its current payment instructions. The parent or guardian manages the learner’s account. Paying for a subscription does not automatically give a supporter access to the child’s records.

Is this an official Ministry of Education website?

No. NGSA Prep is an independent service owned by Perception Inc. It organises publicly available Ministry of Education resource materials alongside its own learning tools. Those Ministry materials are also available free from the Ministry; the subscription pays for NGSA Prep’s organisation, practice experience, tracking and tools. We are not affiliated with, approved by or endorsed by the Ministry or any government office.

Does a high practice score guarantee a top school?

No. Practice scores show performance on the questions attempted, and familiar questions can make scores look stronger. Encourage your child to explain their answers and try unfamiliar questions too. No practice percentage, including 90% or higher, guarantees an exam result or school placement. NGSA Prep supports school learning and teacher guidance.
